Location: Kincardine Community Centre
This course is designed to equip students with the essential skills required to provide immediate first aid to dogs in their care. The course covers the fundamentals of canine health and what to do in an emergency situation.
“we practice what we teach”
In line with this philosophy, our instructors are current UK registered Health Care Professionals, who have many years of experience in emergency frontline care.
It is ideally suited for both dog owners and canine professionals alike who want to learn canine first aid. You will be taught by qualified canine first aid practitioners who are fully trained in adult teaching and assessment. This ensures that you will be supported during your learning journey. Although this course does not replace definitive veterinary care, it teaches you the skills to effectively manage emergencies until you reach the vet.
Can I bring my dog?
As much as we love dogs unfortunately we cannot have any on our classroom courses. We have lots of mannequin dogs who are more than happy to be bandaged over and over again and we will not hurt them when learning CPR.
For Health and Safety reasons, our course minimum age is 16 years old.
Please review our Covid 19 page before attending any of our courses.
