For your protection, we have implement the following measures and advice.
We have conducted a risk assessment of each venue to determine the maximum safe number of course places in order to maintain social distancing.
Training venues will be well ventilated by having windows open. In colder weather, we advise delegates to attend in warm clothing (we suggest lots of layers that can be added or removed).
In order to safeguard everyone on our courses, delegates are strongly encouraged to take part in the national lateral flow testing (LFT) scheme and do a test 24 hours prior to attending a training course.
If you test positive you must not attend your training course, please contact KELPIE Training to transfer your course to a later date free of charge.
All delegates must wear a face covering when entering and moving around training venues, unless medically exempt.
We maintain our rigorous manikin cleaning protocols, sanitising wipes will be provided.
We have altered our training practical lessons so that trainers and delegates don’t need to come into direct contact with each other and can remain socially distanced.
We will continue to provide gloves for relevant practical sessions. (If you have special needs or allergies to latex gloves please bring appropriate hand coverings)
We will suspend delegate participation rescue breaths during this time, this element will be demonstrated by your trainer.
If you develop any signs or symptoms such as a high temperature within 7 days after the course attendance, please contact KELPIE Training.
